Our Story…

Voi Jeans was established in 1988 in Preston, Lancashire. The name Voi was decided from a trip to Italy that the brothers had taken, incorporating the style and love of denim that the Italians have. Voi standing for “You” was a crucial decision in the making of the brand Voi Jeans as this was always a forefront thought, to keep “you” the consumer in mind at all times. It was at this time, that the decision was taken to move on from our past of laundering and start manufacturing actual denims; taking into account, trends, and styles. From this Voi Jeans was born. Over the last few years we have expanded and incorporated a wider, more varied range of denim wear to open up to a wider consumer market.   2009 saw massive expansion in our already impressive range of denims, polos, shorts, tshirts and accessories, constantly keeping up to date with trends that the modern man needs. However, even though our range had expanded, the design, the approving and the sourcing of our products has remained in house. Since the launch of our online shop we have customers in as diverse locations as Belarus, Colombia, Gibraltar and many more. Google Analytics and trending data show a dramatic rise in popularity of people searching for the brand online and the subsequent rise in traffic to our official online store. Seeing an incredible rise in turnover the website, with customers shopping in over 100 countries, our expansion shows no sign of stopping.   Our customer base has grown considerably over the last few years with over 300 retailers now stocking our brand. Some of the biggest accounts attached to Voi include ASOS.com, BANK, Footasylum, Scotts, Littlewoods and even the American arm of Urban Outfitters.   We opened our flagship store in our hometown of Preston in 2010. This increased our presence within the town and aided in our expansion, culminating in our brand being named as one of the top 10 best menswear brands by Drapers magazine in 2010, beating out long established brands Diesel and Henleys. During the same period the we became one of the top 5 bestselling brands on ASOS.com, one of the UK”s leading online fashion retailers.   Our press coverage includes, being featured in FHM, Vogue, GQ, Nuts and Zoo Weekly. We were featured multiple times in FHM”s fashion and style guides.   We are now focussing more attention to our European customers and have deployed dedicated brand agents into many major countries. We will be expanding our existing teams further in 2012 in France, Holland, Switzerland, Sweden and Denmark.

    Voi Jeans broke out into it’s first independent stores across the UK and Ireland.

    Interest in the brand gathered and Voi started to sell in some of the UK's leading department stores.

    The growing demand prompted the development of built for purpose factories across the globe.
  • 1996
    The massive success of our core denim range saw us break into the market fully with a focused menswear range.
  • 1997
    Our Preston HQ was expanded to create space for our 5000 square foot showroom.
  • 2000
    In an attempt to expand our business across the globe Voi Jeans attended fashion shows across the globe.
  • 2001
    Saw serious expansion in Europe giving the brand a greater reach than ever before.
  • 2003
    The high level of success the brand saw in Europe saw customers as far as America and Australia take on the brand.

    Voi Jeans had now grown to be stocked in the majority of leading independent stores across the UK
  • 2006
    Growing UK demand saw us open a stand alone Camden showroom in the heart of the countries capital.

    Our growing eCommerce store had started to attract customers from as far as Australia and China.

    High levels of demand saw expansion of our womenswear, accessory and footwear ranges.
  • 2010
    Mentioned as one of the UK's top 10 best selling menswear brands in the one of the UK's leading fashion magazine.
  • 2011
    Worldwide demand for the brand saw an expansion in our network of showrooms opening in over 15 new locations across the globe.
  • 2012
    Demand for dedicated Voi stores saw new franchise stores open in locations including Holland, Denmark and Sweden.
